Vi Pike was elected to the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame March of 1984 at the Annual General Meeting of the CCA. Mrs. Pike of Grand Falls, Newfoundland was elected in the curler category.

Mrs. Pike, a long time championship curler in Newfoundland, has represented the province no less than 14 times at Canadian championships; six times as provincial ladies champion, once as mixed champion and seven times as as a senior ladies champion.

Ironically, Mrs. Pike won her eighth senior ladies title and 15th provincial championship representing Newfoundland at the Canadian Senior Ladies Championship March 1984 in Halifax.

In addition to her curling accomplishments Vi Pike has also been actively involved in ladies golf, both at the administrative level and as a competitor. She has been named to the Newfoundland provincial gold team 10 times.
