Named in the category of curler/builder is Joyce Myers of Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a player Joyce participated in one mixed, one ladies and two senior ladies Canadian championships. She has been involved with coaching since 1987 and has coached numerous Nova Scotia women’s teams to provincial and national titles. Joyce has been very involved in the curling administration, instructing and officiating which earned her the Herb Millhan Award in 1986 (outstanding contribution to the Curl Canada program).
