Biography / Biographie:

A dedicated curler for much of her life, Elsie Crosby passed away quietly on December 27, 2011, at her home in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

Crosby held a number of executive positions in the Nova Scotia Ladies Curling Association, including that of president in 1983. She was president of the Canadian Ladies Curling Association in 1087 and durring that same year chaired at the Curl Canada board of directors.

Crosby was inducted into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame in 1988 as a builder.
