Ontario second John Kawaja (sweeping) with lead Neil Harrison guiding the stone to the rings for skip Ed (Wrench) Werenich. (not in photo is third Paul Savage).  Werenich would win this Brier (Sudbury 1983) and the World Curling Championship.

Werenich was inducted to the Curling Hall of Fame in 1988, Savage (1988), Kawaja (1991) and Harrison (1991)
