Biography / Biographie:
William ‘Bill’ Tracy of Sackville, N.B., was inducted into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame in 1982. He began his athletic career in 1939 and continued to remain active until the age of 91. He won the Québec men’s championship four times (1954, 1965, 1966, 1968) to earn Brier Purple Hearts, and also competed for Québec at the 1964 and 1971 Canadian Mixed Curling Championships. In addition to his Québec curling accomplishments, Tracy is also a member of the Sackville Sports Wall of Fame and was inducted into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame on June 9, 2012. He passed away in 2014.
