Biography / Biographie:

Szajewski, of Kenora, Ont., is being enshrined into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame’s Executive Honour Roll as a two-time Chair of Curling Canada’s Board of Governors. His steady hand and calm and forward-thinking leadership may not have been evident to fans and TV viewers, but his influence on our sport has been profound.

He served on the Northern Ontario Curling Association board of directors for 10 years, and was president from 2017 to 2020. Then, he was elected to the Curling Canada Board in 2020, and was Chair from 2022 through to 2024. He never looked for the spotlight; and if there were doubts, he never backed off. He did something, and we’re all grateful for it.
