Canadian curlers taking the Ice Bucket Challenge
Canada’s elite curlers are shivering for a good cause these days.
2014-15 National Team Program are posting videos of themselves getting doused in ice and water as part of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
The campaign has gone viral to help raise both awareness of, and funds to help fight, amytrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
As part of the Ice Bucket Challenge, the curlers have been posting videos of themselves getting soaked, and then issuing challenges to others to either perform the same act within 24 hours or make a donation.
