Now accepting volunteer applications for the Canadian Curling Trials and Pre-Trials

The Canadian Curling Trials and Pre-Trials are coming to Nova Scotia this fall. This is your opportunity to be a part of curling history!

Volunteers are needed in a variety of roles that are essential to each event, including event setup and takedown, helping fans navigate the area, selling 50/50 tickets, and additional behind-the-scenes support.

The Canadian Curling Trials

The 2025 Canadian Curling Trials are set for Nov. 22-30, at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax to determine the men’s and women’s four-player teams who will represent Canada at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

All volunteers pay a $100 rewards fee, which includes an official Canadian Curling Trials uniform, a limited-edition volunteer pin, and an accreditation badge that allows access to limited venue seating when not on shift.

The Patch, known for being “curling’s party place,” also needs your help to keep the party going with volunteer positions available for bartending, busing, and serving. The Halifax Convention Centre will be home to live entertainment and a great selection of food and beverages.

The Canadian Curling Pre-Trials

The 2025 Canadian Curling Pre-Trials take place from Oct. 20-26, at Andrew H. McCain Arena in Wolfville to determine the final qualifiers for the Trials event.

All volunteers pay a $50 rewards fee which includes an official Canadian Curling Pre-Trials uniform, access to the Volunteer Lounge and to limited venue seating during round robin play when not on shift, and discounted weekend playdown game tickets (subject to availability).
