Countdown to the 2025 Scotties: Single-draw tickets available starting October 24
Anticipation is growing for the 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts this Feb. 14-23 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ont.
Ticket demand is surging, particularly for the championship weekend package, and curling fans will need to note that all single-draw tickets are officially available for purchase starting Thursday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. (all times ET).
Thunder Bay had a taste of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in 2022 during an event that was mostly closed off to fans. The event’s return in 2025 elevates the excitement with full-capacity crowds having the opportunity to cheer on their favourite teams, including the reigning champions, Team Rachel Homan of Ottawa and pre-qualified Teams Chelsea Carey and Kaitlyn Lawes of Winnipeg and Team Kerri Einarson of Gimli, Man.
And, of course, Thunder Bay curling fans will keep a close eye on which team will represent Northern Ontario, with hometown favourite Team Krista McCarville vying for a chance to compete in a hometown Scotties in front of a packed house.
Among the exciting matchups on the schedule, fans can look forward to a thrilling bout on opening Saturday night when Canada’s Team Homan takes on Northern Ontario. That’s only the first of two high-profile games on opening weekend for the local team, as it faces Team Lawes on Sunday afternoon.
These opening weekend battles set the tone for what is expected to be a week full of outstanding curling action at the Fort William Gardens.
The round robin ends on Thursday, Feb. 20, and the schedule has a packed card with two high-stakes matchups that could potentially have playoff qualifications on the line. Team Lawes and Team Homan meet for a showdown on Thursday afternoon, followed by an evening game between Team Einarson and Team Carey.
This is just a taste of what curling fans can expect during one of the most significant curling events of the year. The remainder of the schedule and match-ups will be determined once all provincial and territorial champions are declared. The preliminary schedule can be found here.
Tickets for single draws start at just $20.25, with prices up to $60 depending on the draw and seat selection. Student and youth tickets are available for all draws at $5 or $10.
Curling Canada is committed to ensuring this world-class event is accessible to all families. The Scotties opening weekend coincides with Family Day, so fans can stay tuned for announcements in the weeks leading up to the event about family-friendly promotions and activities to make the week memorable.
