The top women’s team from across the country compete for the opportunity to win the Canadian women’s championship and wear the Maple Leaf at the World Women’s Curling Championship.
Location
The 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will take place at the 3,200 seat WinSport Event Centre, located on the west side of Calgary along the TransCanada Highway at 88 Canada Olympic Road SW. WinSport maintains several facilities built for the 1988 Olympic Winter Games.
Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta, is on the south side of the TransCanada Highway #1 (16th Avenue SW) at the Bowfort Road intersection. All directions below are from this entrance point. The park can also be accessed from the top of the hill via Paskapoo Drive SW. Please note, park gates are closed nightly, and this road is not recommended for large trucks. Calgary Public Transit Bus Route 108 provides daily direct service from the Brentwood CTrain Station; for schedules and detailed information, please check calgarytransit.com, download the Calgary Transit App, or contact Calgary Transit at 403-262-1000. The bus stop is temporarily located outside the Frank King Day Lodge.

The history of the Scotties
The 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, marks the 43rd consecutive year of Kruger Products sponsorship of the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship.
Kruger Products is the longest national corporate sponsor of amateur sport in Canada. It was in St. John’s at the 1981 Lassie that Scott Paper Limited officially made the commitment to the Canadian Curling Association (now known as Curling Canada) to sponsor the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship. Since then, the efforts of thousands of volunteers, along with the Curling Canada staff, have resulted in one of Canada’s best-known women’s sporting events — the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
