M&M Meat Shops extends title sponsorship of Canadian Juniors

The Canadian Curling Association (CCA) today announced that M&M Meat Shops has extended its title sponsorship of the Canadian Junior Men’s and Women’s Curling Championships through the 2014-15 season. M&M Meat Shops, Canada’s leading retail chain of specialty frozen foods, began its title sponsorship of the Juniors in 2006 in Thunder Bay. Alberta currently lead all provinces with 15 junior men’s titles, while Saskatchewan leads with 11 junior women’s crowns. The 2012 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors take place in Napanee, Ontario, February 4-12, with the winners representing Canada at the World Juniors in Östersund, Sweden, March 3-11. The 2013 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors will be held in Fort McMurray, Alberta, January 31-February 10, marking the eighth year of title sponsorship by M&M Meat Shops. The winners will then represent Canada at the 2013 World Juniors in Sochi, Russia, February 28-March 10. As the official broadcaster of the Season of Champions, TSN will televise both the women’s and men’s finals of the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors.
