Tommy Stjerne defeats son to win 2011 Danish men’s curling championship

Tommy Stjerne beat his son, Rasmus Stjerne, 9-8 in an extra end to win the men’s final of the Danish men’s curling championship on February 19.  Tommy Stjerne and his rink, Per Berg (third), Peter Andersen (second) and Anders Soederblom (lead), will represent Denmark at the 2011 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship. This championship will mark the eighth time Stjerne has represented Denmark at the Worlds.
